Is the Evatt Foundation part of the Labor Party?

No. The Evatt Foundation is not affiliated with any political party. Many of our members are also members of the Australian Labor Party, obviously because it is also part of the labour movement, but there is no formal affiliation. We have members who are members of other political parties, members who are not members of any political party and members who do not tell us whether they are members of a political party. The Evatt Foundation is committed to public activism to support the labour movement but does not discriminate against individuals on the basis of party political membership. Uniquely, the Evatt Foundation stands for the highest ideals of the labour movement generally and is an independent body, consistent with our Statement of Purpose.
